Policy reflects the principles and serve to guide the overall vision of an organization. As an organization takes its initial steps on a reconciliation journey, it is important to take a critical lens to policy to investigate how inclusive – and potentially exclusive – the guidelines are.
In this workshop, we will explore how intentionally including Indigenous ways of being into policies and procedures benefits everyone. Incorporating two-eyed seeing into organizational policies will create a shared understanding that opens the way toward reconciliation and a more inclusive community overall.
