The Volunteer Engagement Cycle is a framework that outlines the eight key stages involved in managing a volunteer program. The cycle comprises eight stages: Assessment and Planning, Position Development and Design, Recruitment, Intake and Screening, Orientation and Training, Supervision and Feedback, Retention and Recognition, and Program Evaluation.
By utilizing the Volunteer Engagement Cycle, your organization can ensure that your volunteer programs are effective, efficient, and impactful. All parts of this series are interconnected and build upon the previous stage, making it critical for organizations to invest time and resources into implementing the relevant information provided in each stage of the cycle.
