FuseSocial is committed to assisting executive directors (EDs) improve internal governance structures, more effectively lead change management and to implement more efficient organizational operations.

We offer various forms of professional development for executive directors that improve staff capacity, board governance effectiveness and innovative process design to enhance program delivery and strengthen the impact in the community.

Executive Director Mentorship

With a peer support model as the foundation for this program, our Executive Director Mentorship provides safe and non-judgemental mentorship to those navigating this unique and challenging role as a new Executive Director in the social profit sector. We intentionally pair new Executive Directors (mentees) with experienced Executive Directors (mentors) and create the opportunity to focus on operational capacity building and together tackle the complex challenges that many in this role face. Matching mentor’s strengths with mentee’s goals allows for a meaningful and effective mentoring relationship. Mentors and mentees are responsible for setting meeting times and locations, identifying priority areas for discussion and deciding on how they wish to work with one another, creating a collaborative and engagement environment for the duration of the mentorship.

    Executive Director Roundtables

    Being an Executive Director is a BIG job. Our Executive Director Roundtables are held monthly and offer a safe place for our sector’s ED’s and CEOs to gather, share successes and challenges and create connection through networking.

    Our ED Roundtables are held the first Tuesday of every month.
