Leadership Wood Buffalo was created in 2006 during a time of rapid growth and change, when the community needed people to step forward, connect, and lead in new ways. Originally guided by the Leadership Wood Buffalo Society, the program became part of FuseSocial in 2013 through a merger with Volunteer Wood Buffalo and Nonprofit Sector Link.
