This fall, social profits are asked to weigh-in on what our community already has,
what it needs,
and where we go from here.
The social profit sector plays a vital role in advancing community safety and well-being across the Wood Buffalo region. Through their direct work with residents, organizations bring valuable expertise, frontline insights, and a deep understanding of community strengths, opportunities, and emerging needs.
The Next Ten campaign invites social profit organizations to contribute their knowledge and perspectives to complement the Community Safety and Social Well-Being Plan. By highlighting both the programs and services already supporting residents and the gaps that remain, the campaign will add valuable context to the Plan while helping ensure the diverse experiences of our community are reflected.
The campaign also provides an opportunity to strengthen relationships between the social profit sector and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, fostering ongoing dialogue, shared learning, and collaborative community planning for the decade ahead.
Your opinion and expertise are necessary to inform and advance this plan in a meaningful way that reflects the real lived experiences of your clients, staff, and leadership team. Ten years from now, what do you want this community to look like for the people you serve?
