Wood Buffalo’s Heartwarming Gift of Time: Over 7,000 Volunteer Hours Pledged to Social Profit Organizations for 2024

Fort McMurray, AB – January 22, 2024 — FuseSocial is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its “Pledge Now to Extend Your Impact Year-Round” Volunteerism Campaign. The campaign, which kicked off on November 21, has exceeded expectations with an impressive total of more than 7000 hours pledged by the generous community members of Wood Buffalo, surpassing our goal by more than 2000 hours.

Brenna Kimball, Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at FuseSocial, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming response, stating, “We are thrilled with the success of this campaign. The commitment of over 7000 hours clearly demonstrates the incredible spirit of giving that our community possesses. We believe that this sustained effort will make a lasting impact on social profit organizations across Wood Buffalo throughout 2024.”

The Wood Buffalo Volunteers website allowed individuals to easily pledge their volunteer hours for the upcoming year. Brenna notes that many participants visited the website, emphasizing the community’s dedication to making a positive difference. Brenna further added, “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the amazing people of Wood Buffalo. Your enthusiasm and commitment to this campaign have been truly inspiring. The response we’ve seen showcases the collective dedication of our community to supporting each other.”

As we conclude this campaign, the FuseSocial team wants to express their appreciation for the community’s active participation. We are excited about collaborating with the community throughout 2024 to fulfill the campaign commitments. At the Northstar Ford Wood Buffalo Volunteer Centre platform, we take pride in being a dedicated resource for volunteerism. We aim to provide robust support, ensuring that all community members find meaningful opportunities that resonate with their interests and align with the organization’s causes.
